    .netTiers Wiki - Yes, a real wiki

    Great News Today! Big Smile

    A proper wiki has been released.
    http://docs.nettiers.com

    We hope the community embraces this effort and helps us build out a great set of documentation.  Give as little or as much as you can, every little bit is *VERY* appreciated.  As you know we're a small team, so any help we can get really helps us manage the load of this large framework.

    To begin, simply create an account on the wiki.  A confirmation email will be sent out ensuring the account is valid.  That's it, edit to your hearts content.

    Code Blocks:

    There wasn't a proper code formatter, so we created a plugin for it and as a result, it's an undocumented tag (on the wiki editor).

    The tag looks like:

    <code lang="C#" linenumbers="true|false">
      int i = SomeCode;
    </code>

    Where C# is a language key from this list:
    Assembly
    BatchFile
    C#
    CSS
    HTML
    INIFile
    Java
    JScript
    Lua
    MSIL
    Pascal
    Perl
    PHP
    Python
    SQL
    VB.NET
    VBScript
    XAML
    XML

    It looks excellent. (I hadn't seen that wiki software before)

    Before you edited the Component Layer code snippets, I was going to test out the code tag feature myself on those same lines. The preview didn't display the code correctly as formatted. Was it supposed to?

    I cancelled out of that.

    The code formatter looks like Notepad++. Is that correct? Love that app.

    Great job all around! Note to all of us, we can now pipe down on the documentation threads!

    Robert (and team),

    Thanks for this excellent resource. This wiki will be much more useful than the last one and I'm sure it'll grow into a great place for howtos and such. The forums are good but I think they should be the conversation piece with the results of the work turning into a wiki page.

    The Code Formatter is from Actipro:
