    .netTiers Wiki

First I want to say that the documentation is finally usable (it used to get outdated pretty fast) and I am thrilled.  I have been using .netTiers since before it was .netTiers and without staying on top of the development on a daily basis, it was hard to keep track of the new features and changes.  So thanks to the .netTiers wiki contributors.

However, a wiki, by definition, is editable by the users but the .netTiers "wiki" is not.  What makes the site a wiki and not just a static documentation site?

    Re: .netTiers Wiki

I agree and find the "wiki" site to be pretty useless. It does contain some tidbits that are not in the documentation (but can be hunted down from here with a search). Plus the fact the wiki doesn't seem to render correctly in IE7 (it uses a fixed width and looks a little ugly). I would like to see the wiki opened up, maybe just take what's there and put it onto a real wiki implementation where anonymous edits are allowed. The forums are great for back and forth trying to figure things out, but the wiki should be then used for the results of that chatter.

    Re: .netTiers Wiki

I hope I'm not jumping the gun by announcing this, but a new "Proper" wiki is on its way!  Not sure of an official release date, but work is under way to move content across and to iron out any initial issues.

Cool, what will you be using?  I tried FlexWiki, and it seemed pretty cool.  I'm also using JSPWiki and it is pretty nice as well.

Looks very nice.  I like the discussion feature.

I can't wait to see it up and in action, I think it will really help add momentum around here.

    Cheers,
    Jon

Any followup on the "contest" to update the wiki?  It ended May 16th, but the announcement is still on the wiki and there's no comments about the results.
