    MySql database connection

    I am trying to connect to a MySql database. But get an error message that the version mysql.dll is wrong or missing. I have version 5.4.2 and it wants 5.2.4. Can anyone please advise? I am desperately trying to get it to work but it seems the version of MySql.Data.dll is not compatible with codesmith version 4.2.1.

    Re: MySql database connection

    This was fixed recently to not require a specific version of MySql.  Have you tried CodeSmith 4.1.3?

    Re: MySql database connection

    HI, I'm sorry, I have the same matter -
    I Try CodeSmith 4.1.3 (rev 3349), - PRO -

    When I lauch Explorer, when I try to test a MySQL connection I have this error message :
    "Test failed - Impossible de charger le fichier ou l'assembly 'mysql.data, version=5.1.4.0, culture=neutral, publicKeyToken=c5687fc88969c44d' ou une de ces dépendances. le fichier spécifié est introuvable."

    I try with MySQL .NET Connector 5.2, 5.1.5, and 5.1.2 ... it the same matter.

    I try to find the MySQL .NET Connector 5.1.4 but i dont find it.
    Currently 5.1 branch is 5.1.5 => 5.1.x Connector
    and the Archived 5.1.x branch go to 5.1.2 => 5.1.x Connector Archived

    can you send a fix for Code smith not require a specific version of MySql ?

    Thanks a lot. Christophe
