CodeSmith 3.2 (.NET 2.0) Release Candidate Available

CodeSmith 3.2 is targeted to the .NET 2.0 platform.  If you want to use .NET 2.0 language features in your template code or you want integration with the VS.NET 2005 IDE, then you should try CodeSmith 3.2.  CodeSmith 3.2 does not contain any new features over CodeSmith 3.1 besides targetting .NET 2.0.  Also, CodeSmith 3.1 and 3.2 can be installed side-by-side.

** NOTE: Due to some issues with the installer, CodeSmith 3.2 RC2 has been released.

If the new version is installed over the older 3.1 version will it have to be activated again, i.e. the number of installs will be reduced by 1?

The license is shared so you won't have to activate again. Also, even if you did have to activate, your machine profile won't have changed so it won't count as a new computer.
